LOVE- That's what Valentines Day is about! We had several celebrations this week. Thursday morning Preslee and I got to swing by Brax and Sutton's party for a bit and then later in the afternoon we all got to go to Koop's school party. Saturday night we had our little family valentine and finally Jake and I got to celebrate together (funniest story of the week happened on our date - can't post it all but would love to tell you if you ask me)!!! At our family party we picked up an idea a few years ago that we have continued to use with our kids each year - so if you don't already do it, it's a great idea. We all have a votive and daddy has a lighter. He tells the story of how we met, fell in love and became a family (later showing the kids our engagement video - they loved it even though the VHS quality was not so great). Then he lights my candle off of his. Then he goes to the first born kid and on and on. Each time we light (love), it just grows and gets brighter:) There is lots of love around here!
