We went to Kooper's school for his passover feast. I was thinking little party; but they basically put on an entire performance with the other 1st grade class and then had their own party. DO you know the 10 plagues God sent on Egypt? Just ask a first grader to sing you a jingle. It is amazing at the history of the Bible they are learning. Then we went to their class for a true passover feast. His teacher would talk about the significance of everything they were eating and they even stood around the table instead of sitting b/c the Israelites had to be ready to exit Egypt when Pharaoh let them go. Exodus 12:31
During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the LORD as you have requested.
