Our funny girl!
Ok! So we are super-duper busy! Actually, I've been busy my whole life and I wouldn't change it for anything - though I cherish those days when our schedules are actually free and we get to chill together. On Monday nights we get the privilege to lead Equip (the training school) at Antioch. Which means it is often 11 before we get home and then make lunches and get ready for an early Tuesday. All that to say; our parents have blessed us by alternating Monday nights taking care of our 4 little guys. My parents come here when it is their turn and Bob and Judi put the kids to bed at their house so they can be home already (so we have been just letting them stay all night). So I usually go over about 7:30am, finish getting every one around and loaded to drop off the boys and head to gymnastics. This Tuesday Preslee was still asleep so I left the little guys, took Koop and came back to get the rest of the crew. Judi and I were talking & I told the kids we were going to the car and I thought Preslee went to the car, but wasn't sure. She acts about 5 so I don't have to watch her like a hawk. When I went to the car no Preslee. Not a big deal, she must not have gone to the car (probably playing inside-NOPE). After checking the pool, pond, hot tub, house 5 X's the search was on. Called mama and papa who live up the street. Sent one neighbor to the golf course to look and told Judi to go look at our house. Had to call daddy and say, pray we have lost Preslee; though the peace of God was totally reigning in my heart - I was running out of places to search! (I apologized to Jake later for having to receive the awful call). Well, a few minutes later out came Juju with a pretty little girl from my house. She had walked up the street, crossed the street and went on in the house - taken off her shoes and socks and playing in her room; unaware of the chaos going on outside. Praise God our girl is safe and sound and even in time to run to gym;) We love you Preslee Love!Philippians 4:7
