Kids' Easter eggs with the real reason for the season!
Sweet, silly kids!
Daddy was gone for prayer at church by 6:15 am so we looked at each other the night before trying to figure out how are we going to make this thing fly. After much thought, we decided that Easter baskets are just a tradition, but getting to talk about Jesus' death and resurrection for weeks is what matters; so Easter baskets with out daddy was fine. So we came up with a little poem the night before so we could all keep our eyes on the REASON we celebrate. His death and resurrection!!! We have died a thousand deaths to fight the "watering down" of every part of this great story, as the world has and it is greatly paying off in fruit in our kids hearts. It is amazing the conversations they start with us about Jesus! He is truly giving them a spirit of wisdom and revelation! We are continuing to ask God for wisdom in teaching and training them!
Deuteronomy 6:6-8
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
