Monday was just crazy; yet the peace of God was all over it! We had staff meeting in the morning, a BOA meeting later in the afternoon and then it was Monday night so we had Equip! I was over at Judi's with the kids seeing sweet Elizabeth and I decided since they were going to have 5 kids they should not think about dinner. Not knowing there was severe weather all around I headed to Pei Wei to pick up dinner for the crew. I was on my way home and saw tornadoes forming everywhere I looked. So I decided to command the tornadoes to go back in the sky - and it was amazing that as I would pray the funnels would dissipate - All I could think about was Matthew 8 and Luke 8 - Jesus rebuking and calming the storms and then Matthew 28 - He has given us that authority! I finally made it to Judi's and took each of the kids out to see the tornadoes in the sky (one did lots of damage only a few miles away) and got to teach them what God had just shown me!!! So during this time electricity as off at the church building so they all just headed to our house for an amazing 4 hours - turned into 5 plus - of worship and teaching. I was didn't go to class until after 7 when Bob got home (he and Brian had a little tornado adventure of their own:) God is Good all the time!
