The kingdom came to Hobby Lobby!

I have to admit I often lose focus when running errands with 4 little ones. It often is a win in my mind when we make it out without touching things we are not supposed to, getting the gimmes and acting great! And that doesn't always happen. Well the Holy Spirit has been reminding me lately about the purpose in LIFE. There is a great commission but we are not walking in obedience if I'm out and not asking God who He wants to touch. We went to Hobby Lobby to have some sweet pictures framed and God quickly reminded me - be intentional! So Tracy was framing our picture and we struck up conversation. It led into she had been off work for a few weeks with an injured knee and just had come back. So I told her we love Jesus and asked if she knew Him and if we could pray for her. She was elated! Kooper just commanded healing in her knee and totally blessed her - pain gone and she gave him a big high five! Then a guy about my age walked around the corner and exclaimed, "I want some of that"! Unaware he was overhearing the conversation, I asked what and he said he loved Jesus and so wanted to be able to boldly share and pray for people. I was able to encourage him and walk him thru the difference before and after the disciples had been filled with the Holy Spirit. (Helps that I had just read about it this am). He just stood shaking his head and we prayed that the holy spirit would come on him and give him boldness and power to walk out all God had called him to. Then I was able to encourage him with a few other things God was putting on my heart. It's fun to watch people encounter God!!!! And such a great reminder that circumstances don't have to be perfect to encounter God and bring encounters with other people (3 of my 4 lost sno cone privileges on the trip between 3 stores :-)

Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
