Last day - sweet encouragements from counselors on a pillow case!

All of our kids would tell you "icon camp" was one of the best weeks of their lives! What an honor to be a part of an organization that loves Jesus like crazy and invests in kids with the same enthusiasm and passion. The first day I went an hour early to pick up the 3 little ones. Koop had already told me he did not want to be picked up early:-) Braxton & Sutton wanted to stay the final hour with their friends. So Preslee Love and I went on a little ice cream date and came back an hour later to pick up our little men of God! The elementary kids were called the Supers - they had amazing songs - ask Koop to sing one for you! They spent time with Jesus every morning, worshipped, over the course of the week did everything from climbing a mountain to a scavenger hunt all over the complex (which meant they had to take several buses), went to an amusement park one day and even had a hunt for the counselors one night complete with headlamps and camo!
Braxton & Sutton were in the Grizzly bear class! They got to climb mountains, worship, do lots of crafts, pan for gold to name a few. They waited on God everyday and we were amazed at the things He was speaking to them. They had a blast with all their friends!
Preslee Love was in the Porcupine class. She was so glad Jade was in her class, along with several other sweet friends! She loved doing crafts, worshiping, playing outside, going on little outings with her class; they even learned three verses this week= amazing!
A week for sure to be remembered by us ALL!!!!!!!

Psalm 34:8
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
