Adoption fellowship

25 of us - with 5 more headed home soon!!
It's fun that Sutton and Connor are in the same class and both getting babies from Ethiopia

The tea party started out in Preslee's room and then moved upstairs
The only 2 girls out of the whole bunch - they had their own tea party all night!
We have had it recommended to get together with other families in the same process of adoption for support and wisdom now and later after we bring home our little ones.  God made it very easy for us!  We had two friends who are also adopting from Ethiopia and then two others contact me and we had mutual friends and are in similar stages of the process.  So this week we were all able to get together for dinner and playing at our house.  The kids had a fun and wild time and we all totally connected - bonus!  Now God really had big plans for us, because He wanted to unite our hearts and let us bond.  So after playing and dinner we set the timer to take a pic of the whole crew and couldn't find one of the little guys.  He had been playing upstairs with the other kids and we just could not find him.  After searching every open and hidden place a few dads headed outside to look and we kept calling his name and looking.  Mama was getting pretty scared and we just prayed - loved seeing groups just huddled praying and kids praying and helping search.  So after about 15 minutes that felt like an eternity - his daddy found him hiding, dressed in a super hero cape right behind the sofa just feet from where we were originally gathered to take the pic.  So after collapsing on the stairs together we all rejoiced that GOD is so Good and the rest is history - 5 families called to something similar and bonded for life!  So grateful to get to walk with each of you!

James 2:5 Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?
