Easter

My sweet family of 6 - hope to be 7 soon!
The day started out with much needed rain and a downpour just before our outdoor 'Easter in the Park' service was to begin.  So we moved it indoors and to 5 pm and headed to Nana and Papa's for a fun day indoors!  We ate yummy food, played and had an indoor egg hunt.  Our games we usually play are a bit messy so we had to improvise - less messy but was actually pretty gross picking up as many jelly beans in your mouth at a time and having a relay.  Then we had a powerful Easter service with over 20 baptisms.  Happy Easter - His is Risen - We have hope!

Easter baskets left with a note about the cross!
Praying our kids always truly understand the Cross always come first!
Preslee's easter basket was actually a bike basket this year-
after being in SeaSide everyone wants a bike basket!

Matthew 28:2-6 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen!
