Lots of cousins swinging before the weather turned bad
Yes - that's our girl - she ended up with her shirt off!
Surely when she turns five she will gain some modesty??
Just 5 more months to go!
She is quite the homemaker and caretaker of her boys. This is her setting up the storm shelter.
She had all kids of fruit and bottles of water out for people!
She always grabs four bottles of water and four apples and puts them in one of her bags when we go somewhere these days - she is going to be a great mommy!
Preslee and Sutton lovin on Whit and Landry
After the storm this is what Juju and Grandad's yard looked like =
perfect opportunity for muddy kids
Sutton running here - he loves getting messy but didn't want to be wet and cold = smart boy!
Last Tuesday morning I got a call from my dad saying you need to be headed down to the shelter and keeping your phone around by about 5. Jake's parents have a large shelter so we headed down to play until we got word that the storms were headed our way. We were joined by lots of others. The deadly storms just missed us Praise God, but many were not so lucky. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who lost their homes and most of all loved ones! After everyone came out of the shelter Jake was at the door counting and I think he counted 68! The kids took the opportunity to run and slide and have fun in the wet mess the storm left behind.
Psalm 69:16
Hear and answer me, O Lord, for Your loving-kindness is sweet and comforting; according to Your plenteous tender mercy and steadfast love turn to me.
