Well, I guess it was not so bad because I'm back for entry #2. Juju was here last week and Nana is coming today so the kids are having a great time with grandmas. I thought I would write a few funny things the kids have said over the past week. You moms can relate - I really should write a book - they are so funny! On Monday and Thursday nights we have class so Rachel (who lives with us) takes care of the kids and puts them to bed. We are trying to impart the same disciplines of our lives with Jesus into our kids and so we will often have them listen for the voice of God and see if He is encouraging them or anything. Before bed Rachel said close your eyes and we will tell what we see. Sutton with his eyes still closed said I see Jesus on the cross. Rachel thinking it was so deep asked if He was saying anything and Sutton said yes; He is saying, "get me down from here!" Don't know if it is exactly biblical but definitely funny! Braxton came up stairs with me and Aggie was stretching on her back and Rachel's dog Piper started sniffing her and Brax said, "Piper stop drinking Aggie's milk." Kooper was outside and we have some wild onions on the side of our house and he brought one in and said, "look, a youngen". I was putting Preslee in her high chair which is next to a Thomas Kinkade painting of Jesus. She pointed up and said "Jesus". None of us had ever pointed out the pic to her and it doesn't much resemble the pics of Jesus in her kids books; wow God does reveal things to the pure of heart!
