Fair

That's our cinderella!
Papa & Koop

Brax, Port and Sutton
The sweet 2 year olds!
We went to the "great state fair" last week. We had fun riding rides and playing with cousins; and especially going to Disney on Ice with Juju, Grandad, Nana, Papa, Champ and Lollie - also our sweet cousins Port, Haynes and Ella. Kooper wanted to ride anything that looked like you would trow-up (that's our boy)! We trust the crazy rides at Disney a bit more than at the fair:)
And of course our princess needed to look the part before we went to the show. It was so cute - little girls would stop and say, "look at the princess"! As always, she felt pretty special!

Clap your hands all you nations; shout to God with shouts of Joy! Psalm 47:1

Soccer

Team snacks quickly turned into ninja headbands!
Juju and some of her grandkids at the game!

Soccer season is down to the last few games and I realized I have not put much up about the boys. I have learned the years run together and I need a grid for each year - thus - the blog! Braxton is doing great! I have officially lost track of goals for the year - we think about 10! Sutton scored his first goal of the year last week and has a much more laid back approach to the game:) Watching him play you would never guess he is the fastest 4 year-old we have ever seen! It will be fun to see how they all grow and change over the years. We love our sweet 4 year-olds.

Hanging Fruit Tree

Just goofing around!
Hide and Seek!
We love to eat outside and walk around campus. Katie and Brooke joined us for dinner and the kids introduced them to the awesome hanging trees. We really need to plant one; they can spot them from a mile away and they pretend they are their house or play hide and seek in them. Katie had shared with a girl on campus that day and the girl gave her life to Jesus - so we were looking for hanging fruit! So now we call the trees hanging fruit trees b/c they remind us of the goodness of God and that their is fruit out there waiting to be harvested. We love Katie and Brooke!
Matt. 9:37 The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few!

Our friends!

Sam, Hank, Preslee and Sadie
The chic fil a girls!
On Tuesdays after gymnastics we play with Sadie and Ms. Brittany (as Pres calls her). It is so much fun to watch these little girls become sweet friend. Preslee says, "Sadie is my best friend that is 2!" Little smarty! A few weeks ago we got a special treat of seeing Kate and her little dudes Hank and Sam. We wish you guys could join us every week! We love our friends!

Healing!

We have been experiencing a wave of healings! From Sunday mornings -to life group gatherings - to just people going about their daily lives. People are physically getting healed and equally so - having a love encounter with God! Last week there was a healing conference in Dallas and there was no way to leave all that was going on here for 3 days but as I prayed about it and Jake and I talked about it we felt like leaving super early Thursday morning and coming back that night would work. I am so glad I did - and some of my sweet girls jumped in and went with me. Even with the 6am departure and 2am return it was awesome! Great car time with the girls - you guys truly sharpen me and I'm so grateful for you! While at the conference a word of knowledge was called out for Lupus. One of our good friends Rachel has battled this disease for many years; believing God is going to heal her but also still experiencing lots of symptoms! She was healed that night! Rachel lived with us in Waco and now is our kids director at Antioch Norman. We love Rachel like a daughter/sister! So in the middle of us praying for her I ran and got my camera b/c I knew this was it! We love you Rachel and are so excited for you!

...He gave them authority to drive out demons and heal every disease and sickness! Matt. 10:1

Fall

The cool weather put us in the mood for caramel apples. The kids all did a great job of making their own. Looking forward to all the fun fall days!

Happy Birthday uncle Michael!

Amanda and Preslee - she can't stop talking about getting to be a flower girl in the wedding!

The birthday boy, Amanda and their favorite niece and nephews!

We went to mom and dad's for yummy mexican food and to celebrate Michael's birthday. Seems like you should still be 12 - wow, you have turned into one of the most amazing guys I have ever met. Can't wait til December (wedding) and all the fun festivities leading up!

Equip

Most of our class!
Kooper spent lots of time with the girls - what a treat!
Mattie & Preslee

Jake is the director of Antioch Norman's first discipleship training school Equip. We spent the weekend at Jacob's ladder for the retreat. It was so fun getting to know all the students better and even more fun to experience the presence of God with them. Wow! God knits our hearts together fast when we are all pressing into Him! Brax and Sutton had soccer games Saturday so they got some fun Juju and Grandad time. Kooper went with us but spent most of his time with his cousins who live on the land where the retreat center is - he sure loves those girls. Preslee was with us and loved every minute of it. Her favorite part was the 11:30 bedtime! She and I stayed on a top bunk in the girls cabin and every time someone else would come in she would say who is that and never stopped smiling. Wow! These guys really invest in our kids! We have even had some of them ask to pray for a specific kid of ours (on a weekly basis) that God has put on their heart. We are so excited to be a part of the training school and getting to see what God is already doing!

Dax turns 4!

Dax - B & S are so glad you are 4 like them!
Sutton says, "Happy Birthday buddy"!
The big bucket dumping
Avery and Koop great buddies and cousins

What a sweet treat to get to grow up with cousins. One of our favorite little guys - Dax - turned four this past week. The boys love getting to go to school, church, play soccer and live down the street from Dax and little Crew man too. His party was at the Grove (an addition that his daddy helped develop) and it had an awesome pool. The kids specifically liked the bucket filling up and dumping on their heads. We love you Dax and pray this 4th year is the best yet - so glad we get to spend it with you! You are a mighty warrior for the kingdom of God!

Proverbs 16:32 Better a patient man than a warrior; a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.

Promise!

I took this pic from my phone but wish I would have gone and gotten my camera for a better shot b/c it was such a gift. We just walked outside before life group (about 50 awesome people - come over each week to worship Jesus and live life on life). There right above our playset the kids started screaming God's promise, God's promise - that's how they refer to rainbows b/c it was the sign (promise) God gave Noah!
2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "yes" in Christ!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

The silly face pic - missing about 4 kids; and yes she is asleep - fun long day!
Preslee loved Khari and Jen's dog Winston
Quality time with Papa on the way to the game!
Tailgating - part of the crew
Kooper and Braxton went with us to the game and loved it!
With Michael and Papa - it was hot!
Soon to be cowboys!

It is officially football season and we had lots of fun with friends from college that came into town for the game. The guys played golf on Friday morning while the girls and kids got together for some lunch and swimming. Then we all went to Ryan and Becky's for amazing pizza and more playing that night. It is so much fun to see all the kiddos playing together and they are all soooo cute. And of course the tailgating and win on Saturday were lots of fun too. Can't wait for Alumni weekend 3 next year!
