12 years ago Jake proposed to me at the Chickasha festival of lights.  So it's a fun tradition to take the kids back each year and tell them the story of how our family began.  They truly love to hear it!  It was a fun, not too cold of a night for a horse drawn carriage ride through the lights, then the kids enjoyed walking through the lights and seeing them up close.  There were even sheep in a stable with the bright star resting on top of it!  We had a fun night at the lights followed by yummy dinner.  I can say I love my husband more than I did 12 years ago; though I would have told you then that it would be impossible.  To get to spend everyday and share every joy and tear with my best friend and love of my life is a true treasure!
