I love this time of year!  It also comes with it's challenges.  I love getting our home decorated, the lights, the music, the giving of gifts and most everything else; but we have to fight so hard to keep Jesus #1.  I mean, it's easy to teach our kids "What's Christmas all about?"  they from the youngest age can tell you "Jesus"!  But to really experience that and celebrate it above traditions and all else is so counter culture!  It's so refreshing to hear our kids over and over tell of the birth of Jesus - to feel like we have some victory!  Praying the peace of God will mark the season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!
