Christmas Card 2010 and Welcome 2011

For all our precious friends living and serving God around the World - here is a little glimpse at our Christmas Card!
The inside!
And the front/inside/back!
Ok, this is for you Brooke per request to see some kiddos that so love you!  Had never thought that you didn't get a card in India:-)  But also to everyone else that I'm not sure how to get an actual card mailed to.  Don't worry Kris - there is a card in your package when it makes it there:-)  I love that you have everyone send cards to a single friend's address for you guys and then they all get mailed to you bulk!  ~  Great idea for any of you out there that are living/working or have family or friends overseas.  I know we love getting our cards and praying for the families on them:-) {by the way my sweet friend took these pics and designed the cards - you can see more of her work at brittanystoverphotography.com}  Think she is going to be taking lots of pics of some beautiful Ethiopian babies!
A New Year!  I love change so I can't say I'm sad, but I feel like each year has seemed to go a little bit faster than the previous.  I love soaking up every second ~ like the fact that I will never have a 4, 2 - 6's, and an 8 year old again (or hopefully I will never have just 4 kiddos entering a new year).  I love every natural part of being their mother and being married to the most amazing man in the world and having the greatest friends and all; but the spiritual significance of a new year really gets me excited!  Fresh beginnings for all those things you hoped to do or change in '10 and failed miserably, or the time that got robbed from doing something God had truly put on your heart and it got stolen by the enemy through busyness or life - you know, you lost sight of what really matters too many times.
So at the beginning of every season we love to ask God what he has for us in the new season.  I don't want to be doing something that was great then, when God has something New and Fresh now.  I want to remain soft, child-like and receive the fullness of what He has now ~ Rhema words!  So we walk expectantly into all He has for each of us and are so grateful that His yoke is easy, His burden is Light!  And that He loves to use ordinary, obedient people to fulfill His purposes in the earth!

Matthew 28:18-20  18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
