A few stitches!

I was finishing reading with Preslee today when I heard a "mom can u get me a towel?". I looked to see large drops of blood splatting on the wood floor- wow! I'm not an overreacting mom on blood- my motto is if you are conscious and breathing we are fine! But one look at the size of the gash made me sure we needed a few stitches. We headed to the minor ER and the kid shocked us all with his bravery and complete peace despite several shots right into the wound and 6 stitches. You were my hero and brave man today Brax!!!

We found a book in the car to keep us occupied while we waited!

Finished up - I'll save the gash pic - but my kids do love looking at it - I may have a doctor in the bunch!
