Swim lessons!

The first trip to Ghana Jake took Harper into the pool to swim- she sank like a rock and we laughed as he pulled her out and she just giggled. That's when they told us big and little Ghanans don't swim! We said she doesn't have a choice so this week we are doing swim lessons- its just not safe to not know how to swim around here; not to mention all the fun you miss out on. Day one I thought I may have made a bad decision when she cried the first 15 minutes; I ran got my suit on and then she did great. The rest of the week I was able to sit outside the pool without even a wimper! I would not exactly say we have 5 great swimmers; but she is working hard and loves the water - we will continue to work on our little swimmer!
