As parents we always wonder how it will happen and we usually are not surprised when it does because we have seen God's wooing of their heart but each of our kids have responding differently to Jesus and it's always His kindness that brings us to repentance and awareness of our need for Him and what He already did for us! Awhile back after tucking Preslee in bed she began to cry and repent, saying "I don't want to be mean"; amen but I had actually thought she had a great day. But the Holy Spirit's prompting to go with the convictions of her heart made me just sit and listen to the precious repentance of a 5 year old and her awareness of Her need for Him! So I scooped her up and carried her to daddy in the living room and we got to walk her to the cross ~ doing this with our oldest 4 kids now has been one of the greatest joys of parenting! Preslee Love you are marked by God in so many ways. You are beautiful on the outside, but that is just a reflection of (Christ in you the Hope of Glory)! Your heart is golden and I am delighted as your mommy to get to disciple you in the ways of the Lord - a glorious assignment! We are enjoying walking through baptism!
