The youngest picture we have of her
To a beautiful and confident almost 6 year old
{Somehow this did not publish on Saturday} Today marks one year since we landed on US soil with Harper Florence and it has truly been a blessed one. Plenty of ups and downs - the ups have far out weighed the downs though. But I always want to be real even just for the sake of walking down memory lane; it's amazing what this little girl has learned over the past year (and we have learned too)! To be a welcome and crucial part of a family = with 4 siblings within 4 1/2 years there are lot of relationships just in our home. She truly loves her brothers and sister and they adore her too. She is a lover of dance and we can't wait for her first recital in May - her costumes just came in and they adorable! She is a worshiper = we have video of her first weeks home that she literally knew no english and she would just dance and worship when we put music on = she knows what we are all made for! She loves school and actually read her first book last week; I was going to give her a break for the first year but she is adamant to read like her big sister. She is a lover of food - SubWay being #1 on the charts these days! She loves to rub hair - Braxton's hair is #1 on the charts these days ,but she would choose Preslee or mine but we fear going bald or maybe we are just a little annoyed at our tangles being pulled:-) We love this girl so much and can't believe it has only been one year since she has been home! We are so expectant of what God has for this next year for her!
Psalm 68:6 God sets the lonely in families!
