We took a SB road trip to Winter Park, CO for an amazing week with the Bower clan. We were sad that Kendra and Luke didn't get to join because of a last minute golf tournament. Day one the girls went to ski school and Koop went to snowboard school and the twins said, "we remember how boring ski school was last time"; so they headed up the mountain with us! The boys knocked off all the cobwebs the first run and were ready to go. We got a call from ski school after a few hours saying Preslee was not feeling well. When daddy got her he said, "are you feeling bad like go to the house with Nana or to the top of the mountain with daddy?" To the top of course and she never looked back. When we got Kooper at ski school; he had had a blast learning to board and Jake took him back up and jake was super impressed how much he had learned in the first day. Jake thinks the first day boarding is one of the most miserable things he has done:-) Kooper enjoyed it a lot but since the rest of us were skiing he traded the board for skis day 2. Harper liked the hot chocolate more than anything and got to stay with Nana and baby Reagan a lot at the house. When I asked her what her teacher told her in ski school she said, "fall if you get to going to fast". We spent a lot of money for that advice:-) We loved our days on the slopes - often opening and closing them! But equally loved our nights in the house playing card games and having fun. Nana was the hero of the week - she literally cooked breakfast and got us out the door, had lunch ready when we skied in to get some Reagan time and eat and dinner and hot chocolate chip cookies were on the table when we came in from skiing late afternoon. Thanks for loving and serving us Nana! We had a fabulous week and look forward to our next trip to the mountains!!!
