Habitation song was a city ready for the gospel. Teams had been there before, so some of our contacts were people we were following up with. Yes- most people actually have phones too! So we were able to call and see if they could meet up that afternoon. We were so encouraged by their hunger & desire to not only receive Jesus, but to truly obey His commands. Just one of the stories - Katie led a teenage boy to the Lord went thru lesson one on salvation and he was so hungry they continued on with lesson two. Follow ups to habitation song have been amazing and they are now meeting weekly to worship the Lord, pray for each other and read the word together and obey it (very low literacy rate we have found and access to Bibles low too - more Creole Bibles being printed so hopefully that will not be a problem too much longer)! God loves habitation song and we do too!
