Day in Ghana!

I was excited to see that Harper Florence was in a better place being secure and joyful almost the entire day today, being in a family the past almost four months has been fruitful - the girl does test limits for sure though.  While we were in San Antonio earlier this week God woke me up at 1:20am and so I just prayed; Ghana time is 5 hours ahead so when I looked at my phone this am guess what time it was?  Yep, God is always so kind to prepare us for what He has.  So 6 am here (1am home time), sun bright already and girl ready to read books kept pulling back the curtains and kept saying something in Twi; probably something like, "silly mom don't you know the sun is up, I should be at school by now".  So we played in the room, ate breakfast and took a walk.  Africa is so slow, love seeing all the beautiful ebony faces and beautiful bright white smiles.  I had printed off a handwriting sheet with her name on it and when she found it in her backpack she went to work tracing her name over and over again.  Can't believe we are only 12 hours away from boarding a plane home.  Pray for supernatural grace over our travel.  Tried to get her to take a benedryl liquid last night and she thought it was too gross.  Maybe I'll stick it in a Fanta tonight?
Just in the room and happy to find a coloring book in her backpack
After a bath and pj's her first request, pink nails
Walk by the pool after breakfast, her feet in is about her limit
Priceless smile!  When she found headbands she put this one on and said, "take my picture".  I think we have a little ham!
