Summer fun!

Well, it is not completely our fault that we have not updated our blog in months. When we were in Norman we had no internet at our house, also we had the pleasure of watching the first week of the Olympics on a tiny TV with rabbit ears. I don't know if they even still make rabbit ears, but you can fix a broken one with a wire hanger if a 3 year old breaks it. Man, we have had such an amazing summer. Getting to spend time with family, seeing God's heart for India, and falling more in love with Jesus everyday. The season we are in with our kids is of course full of lots of work but so much fun. We love having a 6 year old. Knowing the days of spelling secrets out are soon coming to an end, feeling like you have a buddy that can come up with a joke with a punch line that actually makes sense. And 3 years old might be the greatest age ever. They never stop asking questions but they say the cutest things and I love being there to laugh, sometimes to the point of crying. And a one year old that understands everything you say; can multitask like I have never seen before - must be that prep for being a mommy! And getting to enjoy these four while hanging out with and being on the same team as my best friend in the whole earth is a great gift from God.

Ok not exactly a verse from the Bible, but a quote from me after a summer of being a nomad: If you don't have to have anything, everything is a blessing!
