If taking care of our 4 beautiful kids is not enough, God has had us on a fun and oh so crazy adventure the past few years. We are back in Waco for a week and a half, and it has been amazing to see friends - many of whom are headed to the nations, family - lots of fun times with our cousins Jade and Anna, and Jesus - we have yet to be around people so set on His presence and doing His will alone. We are being continually broken and humbled and blessed all at once. It has been a week of lots of laughter and tears. It is so crazy good! We got some time in the evenings to swim at the hotel pools, have dinner with friends, and just all cuddle up in the hotel together! It is so fun and challenging when your kids learn the same lessons before or with you. (FYI: In case you haven't heard this place is not our home!) Seeing people you love dearly give away everything they own of material possessions to fulfill the thing God's heart is beating for is amazing. May we respond so obediently to your calling on our lives Jesus! Thanks for your obedience guys - you challenge us and make us love Jesus more.2 Corinthians 5:1-5
Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
