We had a great day! First day of hello kitty rockstar soccer for the spring- they did not disappoint with a big win! Preslee scored 9 goals but I didn't get any pics because I was on the field ( her coach was out of town). Then a day of playing everything imaginable outside-bike rides, baseball, papa even got out the washers in the garage. What a beautiful and fun day- Preslee and I even got to go to a baby shower for Taylor and her sweet girl coming soon and then we all went to celebrate the first year of sweet Halle (I'll post those pics later;-). On the way home Jake and the kids started talking about the NBA slam dunk contest and before I knew it jake had gone into the attic and pulled out a giant box of awards, newspaper articles and other random things;-). The kids ate it up and he even ended up pulling out some old VHS videos of my games (I know, what is a VHS?) dating ourselves for sure:-). The best was when Sutton said, "mom I never knew you were so cool!". And Preslee wore around one of my wristbands from college basketball with Philippians 4:13 on it! It is now in her locker to wear to her soccer games. So thankful my mom and grandma did a great job keeping do many memories and keepsakes- even for the sake of humoring our children! Fun day!
Papa is always up for another adventure
Not a very clear pic, I had actually taken it to tell my mom that the kids were having a blast going through all the goods and they all picked their favorite things to hold - Sutton an old media guide from OSU, Preslee wrist band and another media guide, Kooper a news paper article,
and Brax the most random things in the box - My kindergarten diploma!
It's so random we think we may make it into an award - like student of the week:-)
