Kooper really wanted a surprise party for his 8th birthday - but once I told him you can't know about your surprise party he changed his mind!:-) On the way to Haiti we saw Minute To Win It the TV show on the airplane. He loved the competition and the fun games they played and quickly decided that it should be a part of his party. So our awesome friend Whittney headed up a few challenges for the kids to complete like ping pong balls sticking to peanut butter bread, elephant march with tights and a baseball on your head and even the chocolate unicorn - stacking donuts on your head. Kooper loved it and since it is 100 degrees plus, what else can you do but swim! So the kids jumped in the pool for a swim. The pinata may have been the funniest part - several tears over not getting enough of the goods inside - I think it all got divided up somewhat; but I guess that's what happens when you have so many fun friends to share with Koop? Kooper felt super loved and honored and is so excited to be 8 and have gotten to celebrate with so many friends and family! We love you Kooper - you truly have been faithful with lots of little things and we are trusting you with more and feel God would say the same thing to you!
