Adoption Timeline

Arrive our U.S. soil and are together as a family of 7 for the first time - March 23, 2012 (we will celebrate this as our gotcha day!)
Travel to Ghana for 24 hours to bring Harper home forever - March 20, 2012
Visa printed and picked up by our POA in Ghana - March 16, 2012
Return home and wait to pick her up after U.S. Embassy finishes - December 7, 2011
Pass Court (she is legally ours)! December 6, 2011
Travel to Ghana for trip 1 - November 29, 2011
August 2011 - fill out acceptance paper work and prepare to travel to meet our sweet girl!
August 2011 - we get the email that will change our lives forever. 4 year old girl (just 6 months younger than our youngest). We say yes!
May 2011 - sure God is calling us to move to Ghana program - choose Dillon's pilate program in Kumasi
May 2011- 3 days later notified extended family has stepped up to care for her
May 2011 - notified of a waiting 2 year-old girl in Ghana
March 2011 - God speaks to us to expand our age parameters
December 2010 - final dossier documents and final homestudy visit
October 2010 - Choose AGCI and mail adoption application - approved! We begin the journey (0-12 months; either gender)
August 2010 - God confirms Africa, begin researching agencies and processes
July 2010 - Know God is calling us to adopt
